In 2004, Hillsdale County was added to the business, adding the janitorial, residential, commercial cleaning and disaster services. Monroe County services were expanded in 2006, to include a janitorial/commercial license.

Co-Owner and Operations Manager

Tony Lanzilotti purchased the franchise in 2017 along with Doug Welko. Lanzilotti had previous franchise ownership experience in other business industries, but always focusing on customer service and satisfaction. He completed all the ServiceMaster training and certification requirements for disaster restoration, and is available to assist local clients with fire damage, water damage, mold cleanup and other disaster-related cleaning projects.

Residential Technician

Michael Haisten has been with the ServiceMaster by the Border team since November, 2016. He is in charge of the residential and commercial cleaning jobs. He enjoys the interaction with the customers and makes sure to provide nothing short of excellent customer service. “I am who the customer interacts with at the site. I want them to not only feel comfortable, but also understand that I am there to provide the service and do whatever it takes to make them happy with our services.”

Steve is the Warehouse Manager for ServiceMaster by the Border. Since 2003, he’s been making sure all the chemicals are ordered and in stock and all the equipment is operational.

Steve enjoys being an “extra set of hands”, helping the team members provide exceptional service to the community.

“We step into a crisis situation for a family, especially for a disaster cleanup, and we help alleviate problems for them. It helps to be a good listener, and I think that’s part of the success of our company.”
