In 2003, part of Monroe County was added to the business by purchasing a residential services/disaster restoration franchise. In 2004, Hillsdale County was added to the business, adding the janitorial, residential, commercial cleaning and disaster services. Monroe County services were expanded in 2006, to include a janitorial/commercial license. In 2018, the water damage disaster restoration services were added to Washtenaw County.
The ServiceMaster by the Border team of professional cleaners upholds high standards of service and a strong moral commitment to the foundational values of the company. Based in Adrian, Michigan, we are proud to serve clients throughout Lenawee, Monroe, Washtenaw and Hillsdale counties.
Tony Lanzilotti
Co-Owner and Operations Manager
Tony Lanzilotti purchased the ServiceMaster franchise in 2017 along with Doug Welko.
Lanzilotti had previous franchise ownership experience in other business industries, always focusing on customer service and satisfaction. He completed all the ServiceMaster training and certification requirements for disaster restoration, and is available to assist local clients with water damage, mold cleanup and other disaster-related cleaning projects.
Supporting Lenawee Humane Society
In 2024, we participated in the Adopt A Cage program at the Lenawee Humane Society. Here’s their thank-you back to us.

Supporting Safetypup Program
We also supported the City of Adrian Police Department Annual Safetypup Program. This program provides educational safety materials to preschool and elementary aged-childen in our community.
The materials cover topics such as bicycle safety, bulllies, crime prevention, emergency 911 awareness, halloween safety, gun safety, playground and school bus safety, among other topics.
Supporting Humane Society of Huron Valley
We are sponsoring a kennel at the Humane Society of Huron Valley to help the animals inside feel a little more at home – providing good food, a soft bed, toys and treats—things all companion animals deserve.
Sponsoring Compassion Feast
The Humane Society of Huron Valley has an annual fundraising event to raise money to benefit the homeless and abused animals in the Ann Arbor community. We are sponsoring this event to help furry friends who may be needing a second chance at life.
